🏠 Hostel Introduction

The Girls Hostel has been functioning successfully since 23 August 2014, providing a safe, disciplined, and supportive residential environment for students. The hostel is committed to ensuring academic focus, personal development, and overall well-being of all residents.

The hostel has a total capacity of 100 seats across 40 rooms, with accommodation allotted as per availability. The facility offers basic amenities required for comfortable student living and maintains a structured routine to promote discipline and safety.

To ensure safety and security of students, hostel residents are not permitted to leave the hostel premises after 6:00 PM. All students are expected to strictly adhere to hostel norms and regulations.

📜 Hostel Rules & Regulations

  1. Students shall not be permitted to leave the hostel premises after 6:00 PM.
  2. Students leaving the hostel must compulsorily sign the register and record both departure and return timings.
  3. Entry of unauthorized persons into the hostel premises is strictly prohibited.
  4. Local guardians are permitted to visit students only on the second Saturday of every month between 03:00 PM and 05:00 PM.
  5. Students are advised not to keep valuable items with them. In case of loss, the responsibility shall rest with the student.
  6. Senior and junior students are expected to maintain mutual cooperation and harmony.
  7. Violation of fee payment rules is strictly prohibited.
  8. Meals, breakfast, milk, and other food items shall be arranged on a collective/group basis.
  9. Students must pay hostel fees by the 15th of every month. Delay in payment will attract a penalty of ₹10 per day.
  10. Hostel fees may also be deposited for the entire academic session/year in advance as a lump sum payment.
  11. Students leaving the hostel in the middle of the session must pay the full fee for that session.
  12. Except for the registered local guardian, no cousin (brother, friend, sister, etc.) shall be allowed entry into the hostel premises for meeting purposes.
  13. Only three leaves per month shall be permitted. Additional leave requires submission of a valid medical certificate.

📘 Additional Hostel Rules & Guidelines

  1. Mobile Usage: If students are found using mobile phones excessively for long hours, their guardians will be informed.
  2. Community Work Contribution: Every student must contribute one hour of voluntary service every Sunday, including cleaning of rooms and surrounding areas.
  3. Hostel Entry Requirements: Each student must bring two bed sheets, one pillow, one blanket/quilt, and two pillow covers at the time of admission.
  4. Guardian Contact: Guardians may contact their ward through telephone at 07162-236777.
  5. Rule Book: Every student must keep this rule book safely and follow all instructions mentioned herein.
  6. Amendment of Rules: The hostel administration reserves the right to modify these rules whenever required, and students shall be bound to follow the revised regulations.
  7. Grievance Redressal: Any doubts, dissatisfaction, or disputes shall be resolved at the discretion of the Principal of the institution.
  8. Health & Fitness: Students must participate in yoga and meditation camps organized in the hostel for health and fitness.
  9. Failure in Examination: Students who fail in examinations will be required to vacate the hostel.
  10. Behavior with Staff: Misbehavior with hostel staff will result in restricted entry unless the student is accompanied by her guardian.
  11. Sports Students: Students engaged in sports activities must also return to the hostel before 6:00 PM.
  12. Permission to Go Outside: Students selected for sports or official events must submit a verified application signed by the Sports Officer to receive permission to leave the hostel.
  13. Local Guardian Rule: Apart from registered local guardians, no cousin (brother, friend, sister, etc.) shall be permitted for meetings.
  14. Leave Application: Before going home, students must submit a leave application duly signed by their guardian and the Hostel Superintendent between 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM.
  15. Extended Leave: If a student remains absent for an extended period, it will be mandatory to return accompanied by her guardian.
  16. Market Visit: Students are allowed to visit the market only on Sundays between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Market visits on other days are not permitted.
  17. National Days Attendance: Students must remain present in the hostel on 15th August and 26th January.
  18. Complaint Register: A complaint register will be maintained. Three complaints against a student may lead to expulsion for violation of hostel rules.
  19. Regular Exit after Examination: Regularly admitted students must obtain clearance (No-Dues) after completion of the annual examination and vacate their rooms with all belongings.
  20. Competitive Examination Restriction: Students are not permitted to stay in hostel rooms for competitive exam preparation or coaching activities during vacation periods, as hostel maintenance work is carried out during such times.

  1. Zero Tolerance – Any form of harassment is a punishable criminal offence
  2. Restricted Entry – Male visitors and senior students are prohibited in fresher wings
  3. 24×7 Surveillance – CCTV monitoring and round-the-clock female security staff
  4. Legal Action – Immediate hostel expulsion, admission cancellation & mandatory police FIR
